BIG WINNERS: Big in the Bay rugby season ticket winners (from left) Hadriaan Roberts, Mandelinkosi Mdebuka, Albe Wessels and Brent Farndon got to meet Southern Kings players Luke Watson (left) and Waylon Murray (right) when they collected their tickets from Access Management at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium ticketing office today.

Five lucky winners received two sets of rugby season tickets at an official handover at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium’s ticketing office today. The five winners, Hadriaan Roberts, Mandelinkosi Mdebuka, Albe Wessels, Brent Farndon and Edgar Hatushabe (who could not make the handover) each receive two  supporters package season tickets, valued at R1050 per set.

The winners were chosen via a lucky draw after registering on the rugby season ticket website, www.biginthebay.co.za last year.

“Each season ticket also comes with a wide range of value added benefits including R200 worth of Free Play Vouchers and more than R600 worth of general vouchers from the Boardwalk, as well as  preferential rates on membership to Goodfellas and The Herald and Weekend Post subscriptions,” said Access Management’s GM: Commercial, Allen Kruger.

Kruger said the winners would also receive preferential bookings for all other events held at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium this year. He said the total value of the prizes was in excess of R2000 per season ticket.

The winners also got to meet Southern Kings players Luke Watson and Waylon Murray at the handover.

“We really want to encourage everyone to come out and support the Southern Kings this year. We have a world class venue and world class rugby coming to Nelson Mandela Bay for the first time, and people will tell you what an awesome vibe there is at these matches, so we really want to encourage people to get their season ticket so as not to miss out,” said Kruger.

Season tickets are available via Computicket and Access Management’s ticketing office at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium. For more information on what tickets are available, please visit www.biginthebay.co.za
