South Africa’s TOP 30 Schools 1st XV Rugby Rankings for 7 May 2013
We added in no particular order 7 schools that are very closely matched & contesting to get into the TOP 30.
Affies & Paarl Gimnasium both unbeaten in 2013, this weekend matches Affies vs Grey College & Paarl Gim vs Paul Roos should finally seal the deal as SA nr1 school.
The most under rated team thus far must be Hoërskool Garsfontein (Garsies), unfortunately they havent played any of the Top 4 teams yet, but if they do I’m almost certain they have the talent to reach nr1 spot. Unfortunately for them they first have to compete at that level to gain the points to edge the other great Top 4 teams.
HTS Daniel Pienaar just completed their tour to Japan & came 4th overall at SANIX World Youth Tournament losing to Hartbury from England & St Josephs Nudgee College from Australia in Semi-Finals & 3rd Place Play-offs.
The following schools closely contesting to get into TOP 30
Hoërskool Die Brandwag (Uitenhage)
St Benedicts College
Jeppe Boys High
King Edward VII School (KES)
Nico Malan High School
HTS Daniel Pienaar
Hoër Landbouskool Marlow
