Currie Cup Premier Division – sponsored by Nashua and DirectAxis – kicks off on Friday, 17 August with the Toyota Free State Cheetahs taking on the Vodacom Blue Bulls in Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein.

Gates open at 16:00 with a curtain raiser between Free State Woman and Blue Bulls Woman at 16:30.  The main match kicks off at 19:00.

Adam Tas will be providing entertainment at the Castle Deck after the match.

Free State Rugby offers attractive ticket prices for the season.  Supporters only pay R40 for the main stand and R30 for the open stand.  Students and kids only pay R20 while kids under 7 enter for free.

Jacques du Toit will be playing in his 50th match for the Toyota Free State Cheetahs when he sets foot to field and a number of players will be making their Currie Cup debut for the team.

The referee for the match is Dan Jones (Wales).  He will be assisted by Ben Crouse and Jaco Kotze.  The TMO is Lourens van der Merwe.
