After more than a month of absence from the Monigo Stadium, Benetton Rugby will return to play Scarlets Rugby in Round 14 of the Guinness PRO14.

Coach Crowley will have to do without 14 players involved with the Italian National Team who face Ireland on Saturday afternoon.

During the week, however, the technical staff has had the opportunity to work with several permit players from the Veneto teams who gave good impressions.

The following were selected: Giacomo Nicotera and Marco Zanon from Mogliano Rugby, Simone Rossi from Petrarca Rugby, Gianmarco Piva scrum-half from Rugby Paese who spent two years as Under 18 team captain.

Full back will be Luca Sperandio on the wings Andrea Bronzini and Monty Ioane. Tommaso Iannone and Luca Morisi will be respectively right and left centre. The half backs are Tito Tebaldi at scrum half and Marty Banks at fly-half.

The front row will consist of Alberto De Marchi, Tomas Baravalle and Matteo Zanusso.

Locks will be Marco Lazzaroni and Irné Herbst. Finally, the back row sees Alberto Sgarbi, Marco Barbini and Whetu Douglas completing the XV chosen by Crowley.

Noteworthy: the presence of Marco Riccioni released by the Italian National team.
