Sharks coach John Plumtree has named a 24-man Sharks team to face the Southern Kings in their final Super Rugby warm-up match before the start of the season.

Hooker Bismarck du Plessis will lead the team while the other regular captain Keegan Daniel will play off the bench.

Fredric Michalak has again been named as scrumhalf and will partner with Patrick Lambie. Plumtree is also persisting with Springbok wing JP Pieterson at centre to make space for two other Springboks wings in Lwazi Mvovo and Odwa Ndungane out wide.
