The Black Ferns Sevens team to play the third tournament of the 2016/17 HSBC Women’s Sevens World Series in Las Vegas, starting tomorrow, has been named.

Katarina Whata-Simpkins has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury so Renee Wickliffe has moved up from travelling reserve to take her place in the playing team.

The Black Ferns Sevens currently lead the points table for the Women’s Sevens Series, ahead of Olympic gold medallists Australia, who they have defeated in their last two outings.
