The BMW Australia U20s side has been named for their clash against NSW Country this Saturday at Chatswood Oval, with Head Coach Adrian Thompson naming his strongest side available to take on the Cockatoos.

Thompson has kept 11 of the starting 15 players that defeated New Zealand at Bond University on the Gold Coast with utility backs, Jordan Jackson-Hope and Nick Jooste still on Super Rugby duties with the Brumbies.

Queensland Reds scrumhalf, James Tuttle will get his first opportunity in the gold jersey for 2016, having been on duty with the Reds throughout Super Rugby.

This match is the last opportunity for the U20s to test themselves in match conditions before heading to the World Rugby U20s Championship in Manchester this June.

BMW Australia U20s Head Coach Adrian Thompson: “We have picked our strongest side available for this match and the coaches have very clear expectations of what we want from the team.

“This team has worked very hard in camp, but after the scrappy performance against the Australian Barbarians earlier in the week the whole squad needs to lift to ensure our excellent preparation for the World Championships continue.”

The BMW Australia U20s play the NSW Country Cockatoos this Saturday at 5.45pm at Chatswood Oval in Sydney.
