The Cell C Sharks returned from Argentina on Monday afternoon and team doctor Gerhard Coetzer has released the following injury update.

The good news for the Cell C Sharks is that Beast Mtawarira and Cameron Wright who did not make the trip to Argentina, due to injury, are back at training and available for selection this week.

Curwin Bosch had to leave the field with an ankle injury in the 2nd half of the match against the Jaguares and was sent for scans upon his return to Durban.  The extent of his injury has not yet been determined; however he will not be available for selection this week.

Hooker, Craig Burden has tweaked his hamstring and is also unavailable.

Ruan Botha has been battling with a nerve impingement on his foot and will be out for a few weeks.

Flank, Jean-Luc du Preez who picked up an MCL injury to his left knee in training last week will be out for a further week.

Akker van der Merwe and Philip van der Walt have not fully recovered from their respective injuries and will not be considered for selection for this match.

The Cell C Sharks team to play the DHL Stormers in an all-important final round Vodacom Super Rugby clash at DHL Newlands on Saturday, will be announced at 10h30 tomorrow.
