Notes:
Quotes from Director of Rugby, Gary Gold.

“We had work to do after our performance against the Jaguares, but we are happy with the character shown to dig deep and find a way to win in tough conditions, at what was an unfamiliar venue for the majority of our players.

“Every week you need to be at your best in this competition and our match against the Kings is no exception. They have been working hard and improving each week and they will be ready for the fight this weekend.

“We as a group are very determined to improve each week and it is critically important for us to continue doing so.”

Interesting Facts
The Cell C Sharks have the third best tackle success (86%) of any side this season;
This will be the fourth clash between our two teams, with the Cell C Sharks having won all three of the previous meetings;
This match will be Chiliboy Ralepelle’s first start in a Cell C Sharks jersey.

Injury Update – Jean Deysel
After leaving the field in the first half of the match in Buenos Aires, with a suspected neck injury, thankfully Jean Deysel does not have any bone damage. He does have a nerve injury though, as a result of the fall and has not been considered for selection this week.
