Injuries to the prop Charl du Plessis and hooker Clemen Lewis lead to the late inclusion of two Boland club players in the Boland Cavaliers’ match 22 for Saturday’s Vodacom Cup encounter against the Griffons in Welkom.
Callie Steenkamp (prop) of Ceres Rugby Club and Divan Josua (hooker) of Saldanhabaai will do duty from the bench of the Cavaliers, with Eugene Butterworth and Ashton Constant shifting in to the starting XV at prop and hooker respectively.
Both Steenkamp and Josua were part of the Boland Cavaliers’ squad earlier this year.
