Crusaders Head Coach Todd Blackadder has named the team to play Jamie Joseph’s Highlanders in the second pre-season game of the Investec Super Rugby 2013 season. The game takes place on Friday 8th February at the Whitestone Contracting Stadium, Oamaru. Kick-off is at 4.30pm.

The game sees the inclusion of some of the more experienced players into the squad including Wyatt Crockett, Luke Romano and Israel Dagg.

Telusa Veainu has this week been called into the Crusaders team. Veainu was a member of the last three winning Canterbury ITM Cup teams and has also been part of the Highlanders wider training squad. He is currently on an interim contract with the Crusaders as cover for the outside backs.

The team will be captained by second five-eighth Ryan Crotty.
