Adams has made a number of changes for the clash, which kicks off at 14h00 in Potchefstroom on Friday.

In the forward pack hooker Schalk Erasmus, tighthead prop Sazi Sandi and captain Salmaan Moerat are all back in the mix, with lock Bernard Jansen shifting across to partner Moerat in the second row and Jesse Johnson on the flank.

In the backline the halfback pairing of Labib Kannemeyer and Wian van Zyl is restored, while further out wide Lyle Hendricks is back at outside centre and Mike Mavovana is at fullback for the first time this season.

“It will be a tough game up in Potchefstroom, but that is exactly what we need at this stage of the season.

“We need to ensure that we are on top of our game and have resolved any issues before we get to the play-offs,” he said.
