Acting head coach James Rodwell has named his England Men Sevens squad for the HSBC Sydney Sevens [live on Sky Sports Arena].

Ben Harris comes into the 12-player tournament group in the only change to the squad who finished fourth in Hamilton last weekend.

Alfie Johnson is named as 13th player.

Drawn in Pool D, England face Spain, who they comfortably saw off 36-7 in the opening leg in Dubai on Dan Bibby’s 50th cap, Ireland and Canada at the Bankwest Stadium.

Rodwell said: “The boys have recovered really well since arriving in Sydney after finishing fourth last weekend.

“They’re really excited to get back out on the pitch and trying to improve on performances and hopefully we can improve on the results too.

“Ben Harris comes into the team in our one change from last weekend. We’re looking forward to seeing what he can do with his opportunity.

“The boys are excited to play in a new stadium in Parramatta.

“The general feeling around the camp is excitement to get back out and play again after a good weekend in New Zealand.

“There’s plenty to build on and we’re looking to seeing how they perform this week.”
