South African born flank Hendre Fourie is set to make his debut for the England Saxons this weekend after Head Coach Stuart Lancaster named him as one of nine changes in his starting lineup for the clash with Italy ‘A’ in Treviso.

Hendre Fourie is a former Free State University [Shimla] and Free State Rugby player.

Having recorded an impressive 17-13 victory over Ireland A last weekend coach Lancaster has decided to ring the changes ahead of this Sunday’s big game with Italy ‘A’.

Danny Cipriani (London Wasps) returns to take over the fullback role whilst last weekend’s try scorer Shane Geraghty (Northampton Saints) retains the No.10 shirt.

Bath prop David Flatman starts for the first time since last June’s Churchill Cup and Leed’s flank Fourie makes his debut alongside Chris Robshaw (Harlequins) and last week’s man of the match Phil Dowson (Northampton Saints).

Jon Clarke (Northampton Saints) joins Miles Benjamin (Worcester Warriors) in the back line whilst Newcastle’s Micky Young is promoted from the bench to start at scrumhalf.

Lancaster said, “The guys put in a great performance last weekend and we hope to back that up with another impressive display against Italy A on Sunday.
