Local hero, and now All Black, Dane Coles, and the Hurricanes squad will head to Paraparaumu this Thursday for a public training session. This will be the first full public training session with all the All Blacks in camp now having returned from their break.

Former Paraparaumu College boy and recent All Black, Dane Coles is looking forward to heading to his hometown and seeing a big crowd at the Paraparaumu Domain.

“It is awesome to be able to head home with the team for a training session. We have plenty of fans on the Coast and it gives the team a real buzz when you get that kind of reception.”

The team will hold an open training session from 2.30-4.30pm with an opportunity for fans to mix and mingle with the players after. There will be Hurricanes spot prizes, and a free barbeque with MoreFM.

Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Union CEO Corey Kennett added, “The Horowhenua Kapiti Rugby Union is thrilled to once again host the Hurricanes for a training session at Paraparaumu. Our local rugby community is very appreciative of this initiative and our children are looking forward to seeing their heroes up close, especially Paraparaumu local boy and All Black, Dane Coles.”
