Grey College thrash Duineveld in Upington

Grey College toured the past weekend to Upington to play their first Rugby match of the year in a mixed Inter-School between Duineveld & Upington High School.
The backline of Grey College was just too strong & fast for the Duineveld boys, big powerful centres Jan Serfontein & Dries Swanepoel along with fly-half Pieter Jordaan made it look to easy for the spectators. Second half the Grey coach released the bench after having an comfortable halftime lead of 3-43. The reserves did well and took the score at the end to 3-85 for Grey.
It was a very long trip for the Grey boys but they did exceptionally well again by beating all the teams, except for Grey 2nd team “Cherries” that lost to Upington 1st XV by narrow margin.
