Affies - school rugby

The Historic overview between  Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool (Affies)  from Pretoria versus Hoërskool Waterkloof (Klofies), the first derby match between these to super rugby schools dates back to 1987 which was won by Affies 20-9.

In 1993 Affies was just to powerful for Waterkloof and beat them with a record 75-6, this was the same Affies team that also succeeded to draw their derby against Grey College in Bloemfontein in the last seconds of the match & therefore dominated school rugby 1993.

Affies succeeded to win the first 6 derbies against Waterkloof before loosing the first match in 1992 by 7-17, the team of 1992 did however win the other derby against Klofies 7-3.

Affies has impressing record against Waterkloof, they have played 36 times of which Affies won 29 of them.

Klofies did however improve allot and dominated in 2003 for the first time against Affies.
