Gordon Tietjens’ Samoa will play against fan favourite Kenya in the opening match of the tournament which kicks off at 11am on Saturday, 3 February, with playoffs on Sunday, 4 February.

The tournament, the third leg of the 2017/2018 HSBC Sevens World Series, sees 16 teams competing for the honours. It will be the first time Hamilton has hosted the home tournament, and organisers have already guaranteed teams will be playing in front of a sold-out FMG Stadium Waikato. An estimated 24,000 people will attend the event each day.

The All Blacks Sevens are in Pool C with France, Argentina and Scotland and their first match is against France at 1.20pm. Gates open at 10.30am each day. The full schedule can be found here
