Jano Vermaak released by Lions with immediate effect

The Blue Bulls announced this morning that Golden Lions scrumhalf Jano Vermaak has signed a contract to play for the Vodacom Blue Bulls for the remainder of the 2011 Currie Cup season.
It was announced last week that Vermaak signed a new 2-year contract at the Bulls for the 2012 and 2013 seasons and that he would join the Loftus based side after completing his Currie Cup duties at the Lions.
Vermaak was under contract with the Golden Lions till the end of October, but has now been released with immediate effect and will join up with his new teammates at Loftus for the remainder of the 2011 Currie Cup season.
