SA Rugby on Friday released the second of three behind-the-scenes mini-documentaries on the Junior Springboks’ preparations for the World Rugby U20 Championship in Georgia.

In the video, Junior Springbok captain Ernst van Rhyn, flyhalf Curwin Bosch, utility back Wandisile Simelane and lock Salmaan Moerat share what it means to them to have been selected for the SA Under-20s and speak about the expectations on the team in the international spectacle.

The first video, featuring Junior Springbok coach Chean Roux and captain Ernst van Rhyn talking about their vision for the 2017 squad and how preparations have progressed at their training base in Stellenbosch, was released last week. Assistant coaches, Mzwandile Stick and Louis Koen, also shared the importance of player empowerment and the strength of the squad in the first video, which can be viewed here.

The Junior Springboks will face France, hosts Georgia, and Argentina in the pool stages of the World Rugby U20 Championship in Tbilisi. The competition kicks off on 31 May and will conclude with the Final on 18 June. They depart for Georgia on Thursday, 25 May.
