Southern Kings head coach Deon Davids has announced just four changes, two of which are rotational, for the Southern Kings team ahead of their match against the Jaguares at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Friday evening.

Most notable among the changes is the inclusion of Wandile Mjekevu, who only joined the Kings this week, at left wing in place of Luzuko Vulindlu, who is out with a hamstring tear.

Mjekevu has been loaned to the Kings from the Sharks for the rest of the 2016 Vodacom Super Rugby season.

Davds also announced that Stefan Watermeyer, who has missed the past two matched due to a tendon strain in his foot, has been cleared and will be returning to his usual berth at outside centre, seeing JP du Plessis move onto the bench,

Up front Edgar Marutlulle returns to start at hooker after missing the last game due to illness. He takes up Martin Ferreira’s berth, who is out for the rest of the season with a dislocated rib.

Davids also rotated Schalk Oelofse and JC Astle at flank, with Astle coming up from the bench to start this week.

Utility back Dewald Human, secures a berth on the bench in place of Elgar Watts who is off due to a tendon strain in his foot.
