Kriel back for Vodacom Blue Bulls youngsters

Loading...The Vodacom Blue Bulls Under-19 side that will play The Sharks Under-19 in Durban on Friday, welcomes back Jesse Kriel at fullback, with the Junior Springbok player also taking over the captaincy role.
Kriel was on Under-21 duty for the last two weeks, but now returns to boost the undefeated side ahead of their match against a dangerous home side which has won four out of their five matches so far.
Kriel’s return allowed coach Paul Anthony to move Ganfried May from fullback to wing in the only other change to the backline.
Up front, Corne Cooper returns to the loose forwards after a break last week, combining with Heinrich Viljoen and Chris Massyn again. Cooper will play on the side of the scrum though, with Viljoen starting at number eight for the first time this season.
Nqobo Mxoli also earns a first start at tighthead, with Wilco Louw swopping places with the former Westville Boys High pupil.

Kriel terug vir Vodacom Blou Bulle jonges
Die Onder-19 span van die Vodacom Blou Bulle wat Vrydag in Durban teen die Sharks Onder-19’s speel, het weer vir Jesse Kriel terug op heelagter. Kriel het die laaste paar weke Onder-21 diens gedoen, maar keer weer terug vir die belangrike wedstryd in Absa se Onder-19 Kampioenskap. Hy neem ook weer die kapteinskap.
Ganfied May skuif nou van heelagter na regtervleuel.
Voorlangs het afrigter Paul Anthony sy lostrio verander, met Corne Cooper weer terug na verlede week se ruskans teen die Vrystaat.
Hy speel egter die keer flank, met Heinrich Viljoen wat van die kant van die skrum na agtsteman skuif.
Die stut Nqobo Mxoli, wat by Westville Boys skoolgegaan het, keer terug Durban toe vir sy eerste opdrafslag in die beginspan. Hy ruil plekke met Wilco Louw, wat na vier agtereenvolgende wedstryde op vaskop van die plaasvervangerbank sal speel.
