McKee Pleased with Attitude of the Fijian Players

Loading...Vodafone Flying Fijians Coach, John McKee is pleased with the attitude of the Vodafone Flying Fijian players following a rugby and gym session at the Regulation 9 Camp in Toulouse, France.
“Yesterday (Monday) we had a very good Rugby session in the afternoon, which followed on from a Gym session in the morning for the players who arrived in camp on Sunday or early Monday.”
“We focused on the ruck and contact zone skills, technique and effectiveness which we have identified as a key area of our game.”
“We also worked on the scrum and lineout and the backline starter plays and kicks game.
“As a coach I am very pleased with the attitude of the players and the way they have applied themselves in team meetings and trainings. We have started to build on our game from the progress of the June test series.”
International Referee, Alain Rolland visited the Vodafone Flying Fijians camp and delivered some very useful and informative sessions with the coaches and players on key areas of referee focus towards the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Later on today, the team will have two rugby sessions at the Blagnac Rugby Club and tomorrow they will have an opposed session against Georgia who also have a training camp close to the Vodafone Flying Fijians.
