The South African Rugby Union has slashed the price of tickets to a special Absa Boktown at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, as rugby doubles the fun for Soweto residents when the Springboks take on the All Blacks.

Tickets will now cost just R10 for all entrants for a party event that features SAMA award-winning artist DJ Sbu, rap and hip hop legend Pro Kid and SA’s hottest kwaito sensation of the moment, Brickz.

The Springboks vs All Blacks match taking place down the road at Soccer City will be broadcast live on the giant screen from 17h00.

SARU and sponsors Absa, Vodacom and Castle Lager have come together to create the fan park at Orlando Stadium with gates opening at 12h00.

“We really wanted to take the Boks to Soweto in the most significant way we could and make it as an unforgettable experience for as many people as we possibly could,” said Jurie Roux, SARU CEO.

All other Absa Boktown venues around the country will also be operational on the day of the match at Montecasino, Silverstar Casino, Trademarx, Suncoast and Barynard Theatre (Cape Town).

Tickets to the Orlando Boktown costing just R10 are available from all Computicket outlets at Shoprite, Checkers and House & Home stores, or by telephone (0861-915-8000) and online at www.computicket.com.
