As we head to Sydney for this weekend’s match against the Waratahs, our thoughts are with our Christchurch community. We are sending our love to everyone affected, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters. This Saturday night we will be playing for you and our wider region. Ahead of the match we will pay our respects to the victims by walking side-by-side with the Waratahs into the Sydney Cricket Ground before observing a moment’s silence.
“This tragedy has rocked our community, and we really feel for all those affected by the events of last Friday in Christchurch. Our hearts go out to people across our city, our region, and our country who are grieving right now and we’re grateful for the opportunity to pay our respects before the game. We’ll certainly be playing for our community on Saturday night,” Razor said.

Kick off in the BNZ Crusaders’ Investec Super Rugby match against the Waratahs is Saturday 23 March, 9:45pm (NZT), at Sydney Cricket Ground. If you are in Sydney, tickets can be purchasedhere. For our fans at home in Christchurch, please join fellow Members at Monza Sports Bar and for elsewhere in NZ, tune into SKY Sport 1.
