The team physiotherapist, Luzahn Louw said that the following players are awaiting medical clearance:
- Uzair Cassiem (loose forward) – recovering from a burst elbow bursa operation. He’ll see the specialist latter today for final clearance.
- Simon Westraadt (hooker) – recovering from a patella tendonitis injury.
- Hennie Skorbinski (centre) – recovering from a patella tendonitis injury.
- Jaco Bouwer (loose forward) – is recovering from a groin operation late in November.
- Justin van Staden (fly half) – is recovering from his shoulder injury after a vehicle accident earlier the year.
- Jerome Pretorius (utility back) – has a deep cut in his right heel after a vehicle accident earlier the year.
Thursday evening the Steval Pumas Vodacom Cup group will travel to Witbank to play against the Cell C Community Cup contenders, Ferrrometals. The match kicks-off at 18:30.
