1 What are your thoughts on the all new expanded Super Rugby competition – new destinations, new teams and player rivalries?

A: I think the new super rugby competition is great – new places to see and new people to meet, which will be a good experience.

2 The Vodacom Bulls are down to play the Sunwolves in Singapore – did you ever think you’d play a rugby match in Singapore and do you know anything about the opposition and the stadium?

A: It’s quite exciting, I’ve never been to Singapore so looking forward to the challenge. I’ve played against a few of the players when I played in Japan last year, so it will be good to play against them again. They are a great side and pose a big threat to any team they play.

3 What are the strengths of this Vodacom Bulls squad and do you have what it takes to claim the trophy?

A: I think our new style of playing is what will take us very far in the competition, there are a lot of new players which have a lot of talent and class. I think we have what it takes.

4 What are your thoughts on the Vodacom Bulls’ three new Stellar Rugby kits and which one is your favorite?

A: The new Bulls Stellar kit is really exciting and catches the eye. The design and technology put into the jersey is of the highest quality and I think it shows. Small details like #crosstheline on the collar is really awesome to see before putting your jersey on and running out to a full stadium. It motivates you as a player. Oh and the black away kit is my favourite.

5 What are you thoughts on your new evoSPEED boots, with the atomic blue and yellow colourway, and the technical upgrades?

A: I think the new look of the evoSPEEDs is refreshing and different to any other boot. The new speed frame is very thin and light which makes the boot that much faster, and more supportive when accelerating and stepping. The griptex design also helps with a sweeter contact on the ball when kicking.

6 Why do you #CHOOSESPEED?

A: I #Choosespeed because it’s exciting, fast, unpredictable and gets the blood pumping. The exact reasons I play Rugby.

7 Which of your Vodacom Bulls team mates #CHOOSESPEED?

A: Most of my Vodacom Bulls team mates #choosespeed, which is really great as everyone’s boots look the same which is cool. It also helps if you need to borrow boots if you forget yours at home ha!ha!

8 What advice do you give to young aspiring South African rugby players?

A: My advice to young aspiring rugby players in SA is to always back yourself in whatever you do – work hard, work smart and polish your work so it shines.
