Reserves confirmed for third Bledisloe Cup Test

Qantas Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has confirmed his reserves for the third and final Bledisloe Cup Test of 2018 with Pete Samu dropping off the extended bench that was named yesterday.

Samu’s omission paves the way for Jack Dempsey to make his return to the Test arena, more than a year since his last International when he was man-of-the-match in the Wallabies’ 23-18 win over New Zealand in Brisbane.

Dempsey was sidelined with a hamstring injury for the entire 2018 Vodafone Super Rugby season but made his return via the National Rugby Championship (NRC) with the Sydney Rays.

Samu Kerevi is also set to make his return to the Wallabies fold after a biceps injury forced him to sit out the 2018 Mitsubishi Estate Rugby Championship.

FOX SPORTS LIVE and ad-break free coverage of the Test will kick off at 5pm AEDT, immediately following LIVE coverage of the 2018 NRC Grand Final between Fiji Drua and Queensland Country (coverage from 230pm AEDT) on Saturday.

The third and final Bledisloe Cup clash of 2018 will also be screened LIVE and free in HD on TEN and WIN Network and streaming on tenplay.com.au.
