Pocock in at blindside flanker while Kuridrani returns in Wallabies’ 600th Test

Qantas Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has made two changes to his starting side for the Test against Wales at Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Sunday morning (1.35am AEDT kick-off).

David Pocock will wear the number six jersey for the first time in his 61-Test career, with fellow flanker Dean Mumm suspended for one week.

Pocock will start his first Test since breaking his hand in the 36-20 win over Argentina on September 17.

Tevita Kuridrani joins Pocock as the only other change to the starting fifteen with the Brumbies centre earning the number 13 jersey in the absence of Samu Kerevi.

Kuridrani will partner Reece Hodge in the centres, as the sixth different midfield partnership for the Wallabies in 2016.

Waratahs hooker Tolu Latu has been named on the reserves bench, hoping to become the Wallabies 12th debutant of 2016.

James Slipper and Scott Fardy are the other new inclusions on the bench, with the Queensland Reds prop re-called for his first Test since October 1.

The first game of the 2016 Spring Tour will also mark an historic occasion when the Wallabies run out for their 600th Test.

Cardiff has previously played host to a Wallabies milestone, with Australia defeating Wales 38-3 in their 300th Test more than 15 years ago.

The Test between the Qantas Wallabies and Wales will be screened LIVE on BeIN Sports 3 (Foxtel channel 515) from 1.00am AEDT on Sunday 6 November. Fans can also LIVE stream the match on Foxtel GO (for Foxtel subscribers).
