RFU Disciplinary Hearing: Alafoti Faosiliva

Loading...Alafoti Faosiliva of Worcester Warriors appeared before an RFU disciplinary panel this evening charged with striking with the arm and/or elbow, contrary to law 10.4(a).
Faosiliva pleaded guilty and was given a one-week ban. He is free to play again on the 18th of September.
The Warriors’ player was sent off by referee Luke Pearce during last weekend’s Aviva Premiership match between Worcester and Gloucester for striking Mariano Galarza with his arm and/or elbow.
The incident occurred in the second half of the game and was referred to the TMO for review before the back rower was red carded.
The RFU disciplinary panel comprised of Dan White (chairman), John Brennan and Tony Wheat.
