Loading...John Leota of Sale Sharks will appear before an RFU Disciplinary panel charged with dangerous tackling, contrary to Law 10.4(e).
Leota received a yellow card from referee Tom Foley and was subsequently cited by the citing commissioner in the weekend’s Aviva Premiership match between Sale Sharks and Bath Rugby for a dangerous tackle off the ball on Aled Brew of Bath.
The incident occurred in stoppage time of the second half.
Leota will appear before a three-person RFU Discipline panel chaired by Anthony Davies (Chairman), John Greenwood and Adrian Senn in Haydock on Tuesday 11th October at 6:30pm.
