Edwin Sass will earn his 50th cap for the Boland Cavaliers on Saturday, when his team comes up against Griquas in a Supersport Rugby Challenge Quarter-Final match at Tafel Lager Park, Kimberley.

The burly centre,  who made his professional debut for the Boland Cavaliers back in 2014, returns to Boland’s starting XV after missing last weekend’s final group stage match against the Eastern Province Elephants due to a hamstring injury.

Squad captain Zandré Jordaan also returns to lead his side from the No.8 position after recovering from a quad injury, while Rinus Bothma (lock) and Sergio Torrens (wing) has also been declared fit for the Griquas match.

Fullback Jacquin Jansen could not be considered for the match because of a knee injury. He has been replaced in the starting XV by Adriaan Carelse.
