Japanese watch manufacturer Seiko today announced it would extend and enhance its partnership with Australian Rugby for another two years.

Seiko has been the Official Watch Supplier of the Qantas Wallabies for the last three years, notably awarding watches to the Qantas Wallabies Man of the Match for each international Test match played on home soil.

In the new two-year deal, Seiko will continue supplying prizes to the Qantas Wallabies Man of the Match, and will have an increased match-day presence through LED signage, program advertisements and big screen TVCs.

In line with Australian Rugby’s new digital strategy to create deeper connections with fans, the Seiko brand will be integrated into rugby.com.au channels.

ARU General Manager – Commercial, John Nicholl said: “We’re delighted that Seiko has decided to extend their partnership with us, as the official timepiece of the Qantas Wallabies. As a brand that represents precision, accuracy and reliability, they share many of our values and will continue to remain a valued partner of Australian Rugby.”
