The Sharks touring squad has been announced ahead of their five-match tour to Australia and New Zealand

The squad will depart from Durban, bound for Christchurch on Saturday afternoon.

Injury has foced the Sharks management to include a few new players to join the team. John Plumtree has named both Wilhelm Steenkamp and Andy Goode as new additions to the squad.

Riaan Swanepoel who missed the first two of matches, but played in the warm-up match for the Sharks XV against their Free State counterparts, has been included.

Young Patrick Lambie who played at flyhalf for the Sharks XV in the curtain-raiser and played for the Sharks in the Currie Cup after starring for the Sharks Under-21s has also been included.

The Sharks take on the Crusaders, Waratahs, Brumbies, Highlanders and Hurricanes on successive weekends before returning home.
