Coach John Plumtree today announced his Sharks team to face the Crusaders at Twickenham on Sunday 27 March.

The match between the Crusaders and Sharks will be the first match to be played outside of the SANZAR countries of South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.

After the recent devastation of the earthquake in Christchurch, the Crusaders put forward a request to the RFU to move their match against the Sharks to Twickenham and raise funds for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake.

The RFU declined at first, stating logistical problems as the reason but later agreed to host the match on Sunday 27 March. Tickets were selling fast during the week and a capacity crowd is expected at Twickenham with both expats and locals hungry to see their favourite teams in action.

Pat Lambie will miss this historic clash after he injured his finger during their 15-9 loss against the Chiefs. This will see Jacques-Louis Potgieter slot in at flyhalf with center Meyer Bosman acting as backup. The other big change sees JP Pietersen returning to the bench from injury.

The Sharks team is:

15. Louis Ludik, 14. Odwa Ndungane, 13. Stefan Terblanche, 12. Meyer Bosman, 11. Lwazi Mvovo, 10. Jacques Louis Potgieter, 9. Charl McLeod, 8. Ryan Kankowski, 7. Willem Alberts, 6. Keegan Daniel, 5.
