Three current players have showed their commitment to the Chiefs by re-signing with the franchise until the end of 2014.

The three players are midfield back Jackson Willison and wider training group members, halfback Augustine Pulu and prop Josh Hohneck.

Jackson has been part of the Chiefs since 2009.  He is a New Zealand Maori and a former New Zealand U20 IRB Junior World Champion.

“I have a lot more that I want to achieve in New Zealand and I think the new Chiefs structure is really helping my rugby.

The team are all great mates and I enjoy the environment.  I am proud to wear the Chiefs jersey, so there is no other place I would rather play,“ said Willison.

August Pulu and Josh Hohneck are both promising young players who have made the most of any opportunity they have been given this year.

“We were keen to have these players as part of our squad going forward, as they have shown they understand what the Chiefs are all about.

They are hard working, good buggars who have proved they have strong work ethics which is important to us,” said Chiefs coach Dave Rennie.
