Naka Drotske announced his team to travel to Johannesburg to face the MTN Lions. Kabamba Floors and Waltie Vermeulen replace Frans Viljoen and Martin Muller on the bench while Rayno Benjamin recovered from his hamstring injury and replaces Riaan Smit on the wing. A positional change will see Ashley Johnson and Davon Raubenheimer switching places at the back of the scrum.

EDIT: Rayno Benjmin’s hamstring injury flared up again and Riaan Smit retains his place in the starting line-up.

This is the Lions’ final match before they go on tour and they will out in full force to start their tour with a win at home. The Cheetahs will of course be full of confidence after they beat the Brumbies in a highly entertaining match in Bloemfontein.
