Toyota Cheetahs to take on the EP Kings

Loading...The Toyota Cheetahs will be taking on the EP Kings on Saturday, 25 January at 17:00 in a pre-season warm-up match at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth. The team has been announced.
What makes the game special is that the players will be wearing purple socks in an effort to support the JAG Foundation’s anti-Bullying programme, JAGBullyProof.
Children who are being bullied need to be aware of and need reassurance that there are people and institutions that are recognizing that bullying is affecting them and is no longer being brushed off as ‘something kids do’.
Purple, being the colour of a bruise, is to become the signature in South Africa for the fight against Bullying, and testament to the refusal of allowing children to remain unprotected from the effects of Bullying.
It is time to inspire and invoke a national ground swell with regards to fighting the effects of bullying.
