Vodacom Blue Bulls bring in Webster

Loading...Vodacom Blue Bulls coach Hendré Marnitz named flyhalf Kurt Webster in his Currie Cup qualifiers starting team for the first time this season. Webster will start against the Cell C Sharks at Loftus Versfeld on Friday afternoon (Kick-off 17h00) and replaces Joshua Stander.
Webster moves from the bench in place of the injured Stander, while Tony Jantjies will play off the bench in place of Webster.
The Vodacom Blue Bulls will be keen to continue with the momentum they picked up in their last win over the Down Touch Griffons in Welkom, but will have to guard against inconsistency, warned Marnitz.
The team is: Divan Rossouw, Kefentse Mahlo, Dan Kriel, Marquit September, Jade Stighling, Kurt Webster, Andre Warner, Hanro Liebenberg (c), Ruan Steenkamp, Roelof Smit, Marvin Orie, Abongile Nonkontwana, Entienne Swanepoel, Jan van der Merwe, Nqibisizwe Mxoli. Replacements: Alandre van Rooyen, Andrew Beerwinkel, Ruben van Heerden, Nic de Jager, Theo Maree, Tony Jantjies, Alcino Isaacs.
