Spur Celebrates Families and Rugby Legends with “Grilling the Greats” Your Child Could Meet & Hang Out with the Springboks!

Imagine a young rugby fan, eyes wide with excitement, sitting across from one of the revered Springboks, ready to ask the burning questions that have sparked their passion for the game. This is no ordinary meet-and-greet, it’s a chance to connect across generations through the shared love of rugby, creating memories that fans and families will cherish for a lifetime.
Spur Steak Ranches, known for fostering family togetherness, has recently launched a campaign called “Grilling the Greats.” This initiative invites children aged 12 and under to submit their most creative and thoughtful questions for the Springboks, South Africa’s rugby heroes. This initiative is designed to nurture and instil confidence in young fans, while celebrating the core values of sport and family.
Participants are encouraged to record a short video of themselves posing their question to the Springboks. Here are some examples of questions our young interviewers have asked the players:

Questions can be submitted to be shared on social media using the hashtag #SpurGrillingTheGreats, tagging @spursteakranches. The most imaginative entries will earn a truly unique prize: a chance to join the next season of the series as a featured guest, sitting down with Springbok players to grill them in a relaxed and friendly setting.
