Tickets at just R10! That is the special offer for supporters of the Toyota Cheetahs for the team’s match on Friday evening against the Windhoek Draught Griquas in the Toyota Stadium.
This will be the last time the Toyota Cheetahs will be in action in South Africa before they leave for their fixtures in the European Challenge Cup (ECC) competition, starting on 10 December against the French team Section Paloise.
Ross van Reenen, CEO of the Free State Cheetahs, says the decision to make tickets available at just R10 was made to thank supporters for their loyalty over the past year. “Nothing will make me happier than seeing thousands of supporters flock to the Toyota Stadium for Friday’s festivities. We would love to see our fans enjoy themselves thoroughly.”
Gates will open at 14:00 on Friday, with the first match between the Currie Cup champions, the Airlink Pumas, and the US National A side at 17:00. The kick-off for the main game between the Toyota Cheetahs and the Windhoek Draught Griquas is at 19:00, in which a cool R250 000 will be at stake. The Toyota Cheetahs have already bagged R500 000 for their victories over the Blue Bulls XV and US National A.
Ronel Pienaar, Communication Manager of the Toyota Cheetahs, points out that a lucky fan can win R10 000 by tweeting a photo of themselves with #toyotafanlegend. Fans can tweet as many times as they wish to improve their chance.
Fans can enjoy a pub lunch with a wide variety of food at The Roadhouse food trucks or the Castle Deck, where the Bloemfontein singer and entertainer Zak Steyn will provide the music. At the same time, kiddies can partake in the entertainment by Jumpers Lane.
Parking inside the Toyota Stadium is free if you drive a Toyota vehicle and show your match ticket.
Tickets can be bought online at www.ticketpros.co.za or the ticket office in the Toyota Stadium.
