“Rebecca was a pioneer in the sports media by establishing herself as one of the country’s leading female sports journalists and was incredibly well respected across the sports and media industries.
“On behalf of the Australian Rugby Union I would like to offer our sincere condolences to family and those closest to Rebecca, including her colleagues in the News organisation, at this very sad time.”
