The Qantas Australian Men’s Sevens side has been named for the last leg of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Paris, with Tim Walsh making three changes to his squad for the series finale.

Jeral Skelton, Brandon Quinn and Dylan Pietsch join the starting squad, with Joe Pincus moving to 13th man, replaced by Liam McNamara as Australia hunts for an improved performance after bowing out in the Quarter Finals of the London Sevens last weekend.

Australia currently holds onto fourth position on the HSBC Sevens World Series standings on 118 points, ahead of the USA (105 points) and England (103 points).

The Aussie 7s men have landed in an identical Pool to the one they faced in London, being grouped with Wales, Spain and the in-form Ireland who finished London with the Bronze Medal.

Qantas Australian Men’s Sevens Head Coach, Tim Walsh said: “It’s great to get back out onto the field and get ready for the next leg of the series.

“We had a good session today and we’re really looking forward to the weekend.

“It was unacceptable, parts of our game (in London) and we know that as a group. We have the opportunity now to turn it around and get out there and do what we love.

“We have some fresh players coming in with Jeral Skelton, Dylan Pietsch and Brandon Quinn to add some impact and ignite us in the second week.”

The HSBC Paris Sevens is the final tournament ahead of the Rugby World Cup Sevens to be held in San Francisco on July 20-22.
