Ben Funnell Cited following Super Rugby Match Crusaders v Bulls

Loading...Ben Funnell has been cited for alleged foul play during a Super Rugby match at the weekend.
Funnell is alleged to have contravened Law 10.4 (e) Dangerous Tackling when he made contact with Bulls #18 Grant Hattingh at a breakdown during the 60th minute of the match between the Crusaders and Bulls at AMI Stadium Addington in Christchurch on 16 March 2013.
Upon further review of the match footage the Citing Commissioner deemed in his opinion the incident had met the Red Card threshold for foul play
The Citing is to be considered in the first instance by SANZAR Duty Judicial Officer Nicholas Davidson QC.
