Boland Cavaliers name team to face Vodacom Blue Bulls

Loading...The Boland Cavaliers have named their team to take on the Vodacom Blue Bulls on Saturday 30 March 2019 in a pre-season warm-up match at Rhino Park, Piketberg.
This provincial encounter will coincide with three club rugby friendlies, with Piketberg Rugby Club facing Saron RFC in the main match of the day.
The other two club matches will be curtain-raisers for the provincial match, with Villagers Wittewater facing Porterville United and Citrusdal facing Coronation.
According to Boland Rugby’s head coach Randall Modiba, the team is expecting a strong challenge from the Bulls.
“Our priorities for this match are to start the game well, to test our physicality and to apply constant pressure throughout the match.
“We’ve worked hard and clever during the pre-season and it’s up to us to transfer our progress effectively going into the match”.
The experienced Marlyn Williams will once again lead the Cavaliers from the lock position, with the team looking to test several combination against the Pretoria-based outfit.
