Head Coach Stephen Larkham has stuck with the same Match Day 23-man squad that defeated the Bulls 23-6 in Canberra last Friday night.

The experienced front row of Scott Sio, co-captain Stephen Moore and Ben Alexander pack down in the front row while Rory Arnold and Sam Carter are the starting locks.

Scott Fardy, David Pocock and Jarrad Butler make up the backrow while Tomás Cubelli and co-captain Christian Lealiifano are the halves.

Robbie Coleman and Tevita Kuridrani pair up in the centres while James Dargaville and Nigel Ah Wong will start on either wing, Aidan Toua is the fullback.

Larkham was impressed with the work of his reserves last week and will go with six forwards and two backs again. Josh Man-Rea, Allan Alaalatoa and Ruan Smith all performed well off the bench last week and return alongside Tom Staniforth, Blake Enever, Jordan Smiler, Joe Powell and Lausii Taliauli.

Out of the ten meetings between the Brumbies and Rebels in the Melbourne franchise’s short history, the Brumbies have won seven matches, the Rebels three.

The Rebels have won their last three matches against Australian opposition and are undefeated against their fellow countrymen in the 2016 season thus far.

The last time these two teams met was in Round 10 of the 2015 competition at GIO Stadium. On that occasion the Rebels defeated the Brumbies 13-8.

In their last meeting at AAMI Park the Brumbies recorded a 20-15 victory (Round Three, 2015).
