Please note the following changes to the Referee Appointments for the fifth week of Super Rugby.

As below:

Friday 23rd March – Blues vs Hurricanes

Due to injury (Hamstring strain) Bryce Lawrence will assume duties as Television Match Official (TMO) and Ben Skeen will be Assistant Referee.

Revised appointments:

Referee: Steve Walsh

Assistant Referee 1: Jonathan White

Assistant Referee 2: Ben Skeen

TMO: Bryce Lawrence

Friday 23rd March – Rebels vs Force

 

Rohan Hoffman will be an assistant referee for this match, due to logistics.

Revised appointments:

Referee: Marius Jonker

Assistant Referee 1: Angus Gardner

Assistant Referee 2: Rohann Hoffman

TMO: Matt Goddard

Saturday 24th March – Brumbies vs Highlanders

 

Lourens van der Merwe will replace Mark Lawrence for this match who is unavailable to travel.  This match therefore gives van der Merwe the opportunity to blow the whistle on his first game, making this his Super Rugby refereeing debut.

Saturday 24th March – Bulls vs Reds

 

Due to Lourens’ promotion to oversee the Brumbies v Highlanders, Quinton Immelman will take his place as an Assistant Referee for this match
