Bulls halfbacks Rudy Paige and Jacques-Louis Potgieter will both miss the next two weekend’s Super Rugby including this week’s match against the Stormers at Newlands in Cape Town due to injury.

Paige has a grade 1 medial ligament tear and will be out of action for at least two weeks, whilst Potgieter has a grade 1 hamstring tear and will return to action on May 4th, team doctor Org Strauss confirmed.

The Bulls play the Stormers this weekend, then they host the Lions at Loftus before a bye and the start of their overseas tour.

Burger Odendaal (hamstring), Bjorn Basson (knee), Flip van der Merwe (knee) and Arno van Wyk (bronchitis) sat out training on Monday and Odendaal will only resume training on Thursday.

Meanwhile Basil Short will sit out training this week due to his calf injury.

Victor Matfield (knee, May 4), Pierre Schoeman (knee, 15 July), Bandise Maku (pectoral, 31 July), Carlo Engelbrecht (ankle, 31 Mei), Werner Kruger (ankle, 11 May), Duncan Matthews (knee, 31 Aug), Ruan Steenkamp (knee, 31 July), Ryan Nell (knee, 31 Aug) remains on the long term injury list.
