Cavaliers name team for season opener against Bulldogs

Loading...The Boland Cavaliers have named their team to face the Border Bulldogs in the opening match of the Supersport Rugby Challenge 2018.
The match will be played the Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Sunday 22 April 2018, as part of a Supersport Rugby Festival.
Veteran No.8 Zandré Jordaan will captain Cavaliers, with Elgar Watts (flyhalf) and Clemen Lewis (hooker) having retained the dual vice-captaincy responsibilities.
While the Cavaliers were able to maintain the core group of last year’s squad, the team has been strengthened with the experienced Ryno Benjamin, former Blitzbok and Super Rugby player for the Cheetahs. Benjamin has been selected at outside centre against the Bulldogs.
