Cheetahs team to face the Waratahs

The Toyota Cheetahs will be facing the Waratahs in their last home game of the season on Saturday, 6 June at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein. The Vodacom SupeRugby game kicks off at 15:00. A South African Air Force team and the Free State Rural team will be playing in a curtain raiser at 12:30. Gates open at 12:00.
Changes to the team:
- Danie Mienie will start and BG Uys moves to the bench
- Tienie Burger and Boom Prinsloo swops places on flank
- Niell Jordaan will make his Super Rugby debut as eightman, which puts Joe Pietersen on the bench
- Sarel Pretorius is back in the starting line-up as scrumhalf
- Cornal Hendricks will start on left wing, replacing Raymond Rhule (knee injury)
- Rayno Benjamin moves up from the bench replacing Michael van der Spuy
- Coenie van Wyk will start as fullback replacing Clayton Blommetjies
- On reserve Elandre Hugget will be taking Stephan Coetzee’s seat, Willie Britz replaces Carel Greeff and Shaun Venter will also be on the bench.
Everyone is welcome at the Sparta Braai Area – come and buy a steak and braai it yourself. Bok van Blerk will provide entertainment on the Castle Deck after the match.

R80 – Main Stand, R60 – Open Stand (adults) and R20 for students and kids.

Die wedstryd skop om 15:00 af. ‘n Span van die Suid-Afrikaanse Lugman en Vrystaat Platteland speel om 12:30 teen mekaar in ‘n voorwedstryd. Hekke open om 12:00.

| This will be the 9th SupeRugby encounter between the Toyota Cheetahs and the Waratahs from Sydney in Australia since the first match on 31 March 2006 at the Sydney Football Stadium. Both the Toyota Cheetahs and Waratahs won four matches each. The Toyota Cheetahs won the last three encounters against the men from Sydney: 2011 (23-3 in Sydney), 2012 (35-34 in Bloemfontein) and 2013 (27-26 in Sydney).
